For example, if you fly from Barcelona to Banjul on 29 April, you will pay a reasonable 140 US $, one way, as of 18 March 2025. However, flight prices change quickly, so the motto is: book quickly to get the best price! In this example, the traveller gets 6.30 hours of pure flight time for the price of a short-haul flight.

Use search engines like Skyscanner, Google Flights or Kayak and select the ‘Flexible Dates’ option to see the cheapest days of the month. Flights during the week (Tuesday or Wednesday) are often cheaper than at the weekend. There are often direct flights to Banjul with Brussels Airlines. Alternatively, you can find cheap options with airlines such as TUI fly Belgium or Royal Air Maroc with one stop. Vueling and Tui Belgium are having from time to time really cheap flights, but it takes a moment to catch them…

The cuisine at Dabo House deserves a recommendation
